Sorry I haven't been keeping up with this and posting.

Season 5 was released on January 30th, and can be ordered at Amazon.com.

Season 6 has been announced for April 17th, and can be pre-ordered from Amazon.com.

I just ordered Season 4 the other day. I'm sorry to say I've been so swamped with watching other DVD's I've been neglecting this show a little. Hopefully this will hold me for a while when it comes.

For those interested in "Murder, She Wrote" and Angela Lansbury, you might find this clip interesting. It's a recent apperance of Angela on "The View". She talks about past roles, and when the interview gets towards the end, she states that she would love to do another 2 hour movie for television as Jessica Fletcher. It's really great that she's still looking to do another one. I think it would be great!

Thans for posting that, Jake. It was a good interview to watch,
I've never seen a Murder, She Wrote movie but would like to and it would be good for another to be made.

I'm currently working my way through Season 4 and watching a couple of eps in bed of a night...it really is the best!

Oh by the way UK fans, Season 5 is released 11th June - make your calendars :lmao:

Wow they certainly are being released quickly over here, if only the Golden Girls had got the same treatment :/
Dorothy: Ma don't do anything I wouldn't do.
Sophia: I think I crossed that line when I got a date.

I thought that too, Roz. I should imagine that by the time Season 5 is released we will have a date for Season 6 *fingers crossed* :woohoo:

For those of you in the US, the TV movie "Murder, She Wrote: The Celtic Riddle" is currently on A&E. I had forgotten what a great movie it was. It's been years since it's been on TV, but it looks as if A&E may show it again since this is the premiere on its network. They don't have any showings in the near future, but you never know. I do hope that the studio will release all the movies on DVD as well as the Season sets!

**EDIT**

For those wishing to view a trailer for the movie, it's still up here on the site posted in 2003 at CBS! (Note: You need RealPlayer to view the clip.)

I've just checked on Play.com and much to my disgust Murder, She Wrote Season 5 has been moved back over a month to 23rd July! Guess MSW fans will have to wait a little longer.

Oh, and Season 6 is due for release 10th September...by my estimates that means it really will come out some time November :lmao:

For Region 1 customers, Murder, She Wrote - The Complete 7th Season has been announced! The set includes all 22 episodes plus a new bonus feature with interviews from Angela! The set will be released on October 9th. I will post when it's up for pre-order.

The boxart has been released by the studio. It looks very similar to Season 2's, but the picture is different. I think they are running out of colors.

I am kicking myself for not ordering the first 3 seasons set-pack from PLAY.com when they were £30 :(

I was given Season 5 for my birthday, and I'm loving it! I'm about half way through the season right now, and the episodes just keep getting better. Plus, Universal actually included a new bonus feature! It includes interviews with Angela and most of the old cast/crew. If you don't have this season yet, it's definetly worth it.

For Murder, She Wrote fans, the Complete 8th Season hits shelved on April 1st! You can pre-order now at Amazon.com I'm sad to say I haven't been keeping up with the releases after the Fifth Season, but these DVD's tend to be a bit on the pricy side, so usually I hold off on them for a while.

I've just started collecting Murder, She Wrote on DVD and am loving every minute of it. MSW has been airing on BBC One for years and years but I only manage to catch the odd episode these days. I wanted to start from the beginning and I'm so glad I bought the DVD of Season 1. I got that for £14 and I've already ordered Season 2 for just £7!
