How about a Nurses viewing party at Sam's house for New Year's?
I'm Blanche Devereaux and I know it isn't pertinent at the moment, but... I'm double-jointed.

Oh yeah, seeing in the New Year with a bit of Nurses and plenty of Empty Nest. Love it

I watched Seems Like Old Times from The Golden Palace last night. Two great episodes, and a very sweet moment at the end which I love.
Blanche: We have a little present for you.
Rose: We made it!
Dorothy: "A Lifetime Pass to The Golden Palace".
Rose: Read the back.
Dorothy: "This card entitles Dorothy Zbornak Hollingsworth to stay in any room in the Golden Palace, and eat cheesecake, tell dirty jokes, and have at least two friends who will listen to her cry, complain and laugh for the rest of her life."
And then Sophia totally destroys the moment by telling Dorothy she got her a candy dish as a present, which reads "To Ma, Love Dorothy".

Over the past few days I've really been hankering for an episode of Empty Nest or Nurses. I have a box full of my VHS tapes with Season 1 and 2 of both shows, so I've dug them out and will almost certainly be watching them this week. I might start with Nurses as I've only seen some of the Season 1 episodes once or twice, so it'll be like watching a whole new show.

I watched some EN on YouTube last week.
Libby's Gift - with the organ - made my cry at the end
What's a Father to do? - so funny and yet true of older fathers of that generation
forgot how simple this show was, not as good as GG but still well written. These are probably first season episodes; it took a while for the show to hit its stride I am sure.

'A tan bamboo purse was found at the scene.' Do you know what that means?
