Woolworths have their Nintendo Wii's on for £159 which is £20 cheaper than anywhere else, up until the 7th September. Jeremy isn't big into gaming but says he'll pay the £59 if I pay the £100. Clever Jeremy :lmao: Buuuuuut, the Apple event is on 9th September and I'm not spending any money until that passes, just incase I want something from that. I just have to hope other places start reducing their Wii prices after the 9th.

Sam you married a smart guy! :lmao: Just a few more months and you'll dance on the damn console and if you suffer from the "seing yourself on tv" fright then you better know how to sing "singin in the rain! :lmao: :blanche:

Dorothy : Whooooooooooo!
Blanche : September?
Dorothy : YUP!

I won a Wii and a Wii Fit last week... now I need to get a TV.

I have played them a couple times, and I do think this would increase my hermit status by 35%. I can't wait to exercise on it and see what happens.

I finally opened it up tonight (still on the old TV, so I had to unhook my DVD player). Actually was a lot of fun. Just played the sports games enclosed. I have not hooked up the fit yet, but that should be fun as well (from what I've seen so far).

Have fun with your new toys Jim! It's even better knowing that you didn't spend a single buck to get it! :lmao: You're a lucky man! :thumb: Now you really need to get a new TV! Maybe you'll won one soon who knows? :thumb:

Seriously debating getting a Wii, I think I'll have a look and see what deals are there in the next month or so.

My parents got me a Wii for my last birthday, after I fell in love w/ Wii bowling at my brother's. I've played a few rounds of Mario Kart also, but I have to say I pretty much suck. LOL. I'm sure I'd get better if I played it some more. I would LOVE to try some of the Harry Potter games, since I'm totally obsessed w/ the books/movies. From what I've heard about the games, there's a lot of exploration involved, and the idea of being able to actually walk around Hogwarts is something I don't think I could pass up!

I haven't played mine in ages. Perhaps when the weather cools down...

I haven't played mine either much in the last 2 months. Need some new games.

I had occasionally thought about getting a Wii but wasn't sure I'd bother with it much as I'm not a big gaming person. Then a few months back I was at my brothers and we played a few games on his wii. I was bored pretty quickly and very relieved I didn't buy one myself  I prefer the games for the iPhone from the iTunes App Store - and they cost a lot less than the Wii games!

I am seriously loving my Wii :D I love the sports games and at the moment I feel like I actually have something to do rather than just plonking myself down in front of the TV. Sonic and Mario at the Olympics is a great laugh ( I am ultra competitive just call me :rose:

I bought My Fitness Coach and have found the workouts ace so far. Im in two minds as to get a Wii fit and/or EA sports active. I'm still going to the gym but I think these are good additions and allow me to do a little bit more.

My Dad wants a Nintendo Wii so we're looking for a good bundle deal. Play.com have a bundle on right now which includes the Wii Sports/ Sports Resort, Mario Kart and the wheel for £189.99 as an offer of the week. Amazon have the same bundle (minus Mario Kart) for £149 but Mario Kart and the wheel can be bought separately for around £27, so it works out cheaper than Play.com. We're going to check out GAME next week to see what their bundles are. If we do get one for the household then I'd love to play Mario Kart against any of you here who also have a Wii!

That would be brilliant, Sam! I hope you can get your hands on one for your Dad.

I can't wait to have a look - some good games around. I also can't wait to be able to watch BBC iPlayer via the Wii. That'll be really useful in this house.
