I'll add my 2 cents on ioffer. I like this site I bought some Maude dvd's here. I don't have all the episodes. I think I am missing one actually so I would still love it if they would officially release the darn show on dvd but I have also bought some rare Bea appearances on here and I haven't been disappointed.
"I`m not playing a role. I`m being myself, whatever the hell that is."

“Now this goes to the grave with you - I hate cheesecake!”

"I think the mother-daughter between Estelle and me was one made in comedy heaven"

"Yes... a little bit, I think I am a bubble-pricker... I don't like anything phony."

from Bea's mouth to our ears.

You guys are tempting me with ioffer.com. It looks unlikely that EN will be released to DVD anytime soon, but I'd love to see the episodes beyond the first 2 seasons that I currently have on VHS tape, recorded from digital tv a few years back.

Wow, ioffer.com has some good offers! $20 for all 6 seasons of Maude is really tempting, but I still don't know. I'm chicken. :lmao:
I'm Blanche Devereaux and I know it isn't pertinent at the moment, but... I'm double-jointed.

LOL Stephen

That is a good price. Most likely there are episodes (at least one) missing. These shows I believe were taped from Nickolodeon or TVLand or something like that some years ago.

I went ahead and bought it knowing I would be buying an incomplete set. I looked at it this way... I'd rather be missing one/two episodes, than at this point 5 seasons. The way things are going who knows when we'll get the next seasons.

That's a good point. I'll think it over. Honestly, I don't need any more TV shows on DVD right now because my shelves are already full! If Maude is still the same price on iOffer when I have watched all my new DVDs, I will seriously consider purchasing the set.

Just out of curiosity, which episode was missing from the set you bought?

I think Ioffer is where I bought my Susan Thomas: FB Eye Complete Series set. I was a bit disappointed because the lips aren't synched with the audio, but that may be because of my DVD-player, I haven't checked it with another one since I don't know many that can play these region 1 copies.

It is very tempting to buy Empty Nest on DVD, but I think I'll wait. If I get the complete set now, when we finally get a season release I won't be as excited :(

I've never had any trouble on iOffer, either...you have to review your purchase pretty carefully before you buy (so you know the quality of the sound/video), but it's a pretty simple process on there. If you look hard enough, you might be lucky enough to find someone willing to put the DVDs in cases, rather than paper sleeves! :D

I've bought the Complete Series of Rocko's Modern Life, Space Cases, and a bunch of The Carol Burnett Show...you guys are really making me want to get EN now! :P
Rose: I planned a way to get back at you...
Miles: What were you gonna do, call me on the phone, and hang up? Ring the doorbell and run away?
Rose: I hired an ex-Green Beret to tamper with your brakes...

Hello,

I too am missing at least 24 episodes of Empty Nest. When I go to ioffer they all say it's complete series but I do not know which one is really telling the truth, and the last item I brought had very poor video qualities that I think the sellers did not take a real good look at it or listened to the audio quality from the series, if anybody knows where I can find the entire series with every single episodes in great excellent qualities, please PM me or let me know. Even if anyone has in the United Kingdoms or a different language, I will accept it.

Thank you so much.
